Coaching for accountability

Speak to any successful person and ask them what their recipe for success is?

Ask them if they had a coach. High chances are they do and or have one.

Why does personal coaching support growth and success you ask? We can't be what we can't see. Without mentoring and guidance it is very challenging to achieve the goals you set out to achieve. An accountability coach helps you create the pathway to success by supporting you with the tools and techniques to succeed.

I remember my first coach and mentor helping me towards my first leadership role at a multinational company.

My coach helped me put perspective on a lot of challenges I had in front of me and helped me break down what I needed to do to get where I needed to go. I did think during my first session how great it would be to do what he did to help people get the best out of themselves and more! It was that day and that very positive experience that enabled me to lead effective teams towards success and to get the results I needed to thrive. Not only did I lead effective teams I led "high performance" and record breaking award winning teams year after year in highly competitive markets for several years. What an amazing journey it is to bring out the best in people through coaching. My coach also helped me put perspective on a lot of challenges I had in front of me and helped me break down what I needed to do to get where I needed to go. Those challenges are a story/blog post for another day.

A coach helps you grow new muscles. Not too dissimilar to a PT coach at the gym. A coach can help you to recognise what is holding you back and work on breaking down barriers towards success. By tapping into new growth experiences we are more enabled to become effective in areas we may not have considered before.

My coach enables me in my sessions to challenge myself in ways I would not be able to do on my own.

Every good coach has their own coach and every success story is a journey we ourselves need to be willing to invest in with both our time and money. A good coach doesn't need to cost an arm or a leg however consistently investing in a good coach will set you up for success, keep you on track and accountable, which is key for growth,
